Zoe & Toby’s Fun-Filled Greenwich Wedding at the Trafalgar Tavern
If you're looking for Greenwich wedding photography that captures natural, candid, and documentary-style moments, Zoe & Toby’s wedding is a perfect example of how joyful and relaxed a wedding day can be. As a London wedding photographer, I love working with couples who want their wedding photos to feel effortless and full of personality—just like these two!
A November Wedding at the Trafalgar Tavern
Zoe & Toby, both local to Greenwich, chose the Trafalgar Tavern as their wedding venue, an iconic riverside pub with stunning views over the Thames. Their wedding had such a warm and intimate atmosphere, proving that even in November, a Greenwich wedding can be full of light and laughter.
Before heading to the reception, we made the most of the historic surroundings by taking their couple portraits in the grounds of the Royal Naval College. The grand architecture and beautiful riverside backdrop gave us some incredible shots that truly captured the essence of a Greenwich wedding.
The Flow of the Day
The day was planned perfectly, allowing plenty of time for natural and relaxed moments:
- 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm: 8 hours of photography coverage
- 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm: Couple & family photos at the Royal Naval College, followed by drinks & canapés at Trafalgar Tavern
- 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Wedding breakfast and speeches (held after the main course)
- 7:00 pm onwards: Evening reception with a lively first dance
- 7:15 pm: Cake cutting
- 8:00 pm: Dance floor photos as the party kicked off
A Relaxed, Candid Approach to Wedding Photography
One of my favourite things about documentary-style wedding photography is capturing those in-between moments—the real laughter, the warm hugs, and the spontaneous fun. Zoe & Toby’s wedding was filled with so much joy, and their guests made sure the dance floor was packed all night!
If you're planning a wedding in Greenwich and want your day captured in a relaxed, natural way, I’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re getting married at Trafalgar Tavern, the Royal Naval College, or another iconic London venue, I’m all about photographing real moments that truly reflect you as a couple.
