Along with being a photographer, I am also a designer, mum to two small people and a Dog. I'm also married to a husband who hates having his photo taken. A family photo session isn't just about getting pictures. It's about memories that show your personality. My style is all about keeping things natural and candid. No stiff poses or forced smiles. Just real moments that tell your story.
From £589 - 1.5 hr
Included in your session
- Me there photographing you and your family
- Minimum 50 Digital photos shared via your own online private gallery
- 30 min pre planning session via video call
- Option to include a printed album or framed prints.

This sounds good, but what should I expect, and how does it work?

Send an enquiry
Once I've received your enquiry, you can expect to hear from me within 48hrs. I will send an email with a link to arrange a call. This is more for you to get to know me and hear how I work, and see if a family photo session is right for you.

Contract and payment
After our initial chat, I will share a generic family photography contract and once that is signed I will ask for a deposit of 50% via a payment link. I will then ask for the remainder to be paid 1 week before our planned photo session

Planning your session
We will work on a date and location suitable for you, and will have a rain safe option just incase. I tend to do family sessions pre midday, as it's quieter and children can be more agreeable then, but you know your family so let me know what is best for you.
04.
Getting your pictures
2-4 weeks post the photo session, you will have at least 50 edited photos shared with you digitally that you can download from and also share with your loved ones who may want some photos for themselves.

What to expect from your family photo session with me.
Think of me as someone who is simply hanging out with you and your family. I like to think that I am pretty likeable and I am sensitive to childrens behaviours. If they feel a little shy then I will allow them the space to feel confident hanging around me, likewise if they are hugely inquisitive then I will help them to understand more about my camera and what I do. I even get children involved in helping me come up with silly poses, directing parents whilst they help me with art direction.
My approach is all about photographing genuine moments, not staged poses. I embrace the delightful unpredictability of children and pets – I won't guarantee their perfect behaviour, but I'll capture the magic in those candid moments.
