Rhiannon & Andy’s Riverside Wedding | Twickenham Rowing Club
If you’re looking for inspiration for a relaxed and fun London wedding by the River Thames, Rhiannon & Andy’s wedding was exactly that! Their day was filled with laughter, personal touches, and a beautiful riverside reception at Twickenham Rowing Club—a venue that holds a special place in their hearts.
A Personal Journey to the Ceremony at Orleans House
Rhiannon & Andy’s day started with a unique and personal touch—Rhiannon’s dad, a London taxi driver, drove her to the ceremony in his black cab. I absolutely love black cabs for weddings; they’re such an iconic London feature, and they also happen to be incredibly spacious, making them perfect for a stress-free bridal arrival.
Their ceremony took place at Orleans House, a stunning historic gallery in Twickenham with beautiful architecture and light-filled spaces. As they exchanged vows, surrounded by their closest friends and family, you could feel the joy in the room.
A Riverside Walk to Eel Pie Island & Twickenham Rowing Club
After the ceremony, we took a scenic walk along the river towards Eel Pie Island, capturing some natural and relaxed portraits along the way. Walking to your wedding reception is such a lovely way to enjoy a moment together and soak in the excitement before the party begins.
Their reception was held at Twickenham Rowing Club, right by the River Thames. As members of the club, this was the perfect place for them to celebrate with their loved ones. The setting was incredible—boats gliding past on the river, fairy lights twinkling inside, and plenty of space for everyone to let loose and have fun.
Laughter, Dancing & a Joyful Celebration
From heartfelt speeches to a packed dance floor, Rhiannon & Andy’s wedding was nothing short of joyful, relaxed, and full of personality. There were so many candid, documentary-style moments, which I love capturing—big belly laughs, emotional hugs, and friends and family just having the best time.
